He blames 25 years of “overpromising” by Democrats in control of the Connecticut General Assembly,

“' Malloy's ' math doesn’t add up,” Walker said. “... Math is the new four-letter word … People haven’t been told the truth. They haven’t been presented with the tough choices. … We need to be honest with people and say we’ve overpromised”
